Run an agent on a schedule

Run Claude Code or Codex every hour, or every night, from a terminal on your cloud computer.

Cube doesn't have a built-in scheduler yet. A terminal on your cloud computer keeps running while you're away, though, so a loop in one does the job.

Open a terminal in the repository

Open your computer in the sidebar, hover the repository under Repos and choose New terminal here. Make sure the agent you want is installed and signed in: see Agents and tools.

Start the loop

With Claude Code's /loop. Start Claude Code in the terminal and give it the interval and the prompt:

/loop 1h check the open issues labelled bug and fix any you can, with a test for each

With a shell loop. Run the agent non-interactively, wait, and repeat:

while true; do
claude -p "Run the test suite and fix anything that fails. Commit each fix."
  sleep 3600
done

For Codex, use codex exec "…" in place of claude -p "…".

Leave it running

Close the app or your laptop: the terminal keeps running on your computer. To stop the loop, open the terminal and press Ctrl C.

It runs while your computer runs

Pausing your computer stops the loop, and so does running out of credit. Each run uses your agent's subscription or API credit, billed by its provider.
