Connect the Claude and Codex apps
Let the Claude and Codex desktop apps on your Mac work on your cloud computer, in two minutes.
The Claude and Codex desktop apps can work on your cloud computer over SSH: their sessions read, edit and run everything there, not on your Mac. Cube sets up the connection for you. The details are in SSH from Codex and Claude.
Turn on SSH
In the Mac app, open your computer and choose Machine. With the computer running, find the SSH card and turn on Allow SSH from this Mac.

Use this Cube in Claude
Adds this computer to Claude's SSH environments and opens Claude.
Open in ClaudeUse this Cube in Codex
Opens Codex's SSH connection setup for this computer.
Open in CodexClaude: open it in Claude
Under Use this Cube in Claude, choose Open in Claude. Cube adds your computer to Claude's SSH environments and opens the Claude app. Pick your computer in the environment menu and choose a folder on it, such as a repository.
Codex: install it, then open it in Codex
Codex runs its own codex on your computer, so install it there first from Agents & Tools, and
sign it in: in Machine, Agent sign-ins can copy your Mac's Codex sign-in with Copy from
this Mac.
Then, under Use this Cube in Codex, choose Open in Codex. Cube opens Codex's SSH connection setup for your computer. Enable the connection and choose a project folder on your computer.
Both buttons need the Claude or Codex app installed on your Mac, and the computer running.
