Use Cube from your coding agent
Let an agent on your Mac run work on your Cube computer over SSH, and point it at these docs.
A coding agent on your Mac, such as Claude Code or Codex in a terminal, can hand work to your Cube computer over SSH: long test runs, builds, or a second agent that keeps going after you close your laptop.
Give it SSH access
Turn on Allow SSH from this Mac in your computer's SSH card, in Machine. Cube writes a
host for the computer to ~/.ssh, so anything on your Mac that uses SSH can reach it with the
alias. See SSH from Codex and Claude.
Find your computers' aliases:
grep -h '^Host cube-' ~/.ssh/cube-*.configThen your agent runs commands there with ssh:
ssh cube-… 'cd my-repo && git pull && npm test'The user on the computer is ubuntu, and paths are relative to its home folder.
Tell it when to use the computer
Add a section like this to your project's AGENTS.md or CLAUDE.md, with your alias and folder:
## Cube computer
This project also lives on a Cube cloud computer, reachable over SSH as `cube-…`
(user `ubuntu`, repository in `~/my-repo`).
- Run long or heavy work there, not on this Mac: full test suites, builds, benchmarks.
Example: `ssh cube-… 'cd my-repo && git pull && npm test'`
- Work that must keep going after the laptop closes runs there too, inside a terminal
started from the Cube app.
- Push your branch before running it there, and pull on the computer first.

- llms-full.txt: every page in one file, for an agent to read in one go.
- llms.txt: an index of the pages with key facts.
- Any page as Markdown: add
.mdto its URL, such as /docs/ssh.md.
